|
Founded in 1966, Briarcliffe College was established to fulfill the need for higher education options of Long Island residents. As the population and businesses of Long Island increased, there was a need for an educational institution that focused on the needs of the businesses. They established an excellent relationship with businesses. This relationship allowed the college to offer classes that target skills and offer degrees specific to the businesses in the area. Today, Briarcliffe College continues to offer a professional learning environment that allows students to choose a career, better a career or change their career choice altogether.
The original campus is located in Bethpage, New York. It is a beautiful 18 acre campus that is located in suburban Long Island. It is ideally located for its commuting population. This is because it is about a half an hour from beautiful beaches as well as half an hour from the downtown arts, entertainment, and dining delights of New York City.

The Patchogue Campus is located on the southern shores of Long Island. It is at this campus that the sports and recreation stand out. With its many parks, athletic fields and tennis courts, it is perfect for students of all ages to participate in some type of recreation activity.
Briarcliffe's Queens Campus is the newest of the Campuses. It is in a beautiful suburban part of Long Island that is noted for its multicultural roots. Conveniently located students from Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx have easy access to this campus. It is the perfect place for those looking for quality education in a setting that is just minutes from all that the great city of New York has to offer.
